Write Yourself Into Calm

THE WORKSHOP

Capture calm memories to look back on when we most need them. Using photos, objects and sounds as prompts, we'll remember moments of serenity and put them down in words so you'll always be able to think about them.

If you are only just starting writing creatively, this workshop will help your imagination to flourish. By the end of the workshop, you will have several short pieces of writing you can develop further.

We'll be trying out a series of prompts and exercises intended to spark your creativity - and to help you to reach your most tranquil memories. The session will be fun, interactive, and sensitive to everyone's needs.

THE TUTOR

Anne honed her writing skills doing a Creative Writing MA at Sheffield Hallam University, specialising in Writing for Children and the Novel. Since 2013 she has been running her freelance writing business Wild Rosemary Writing Services and is the the author of two published novels, Outside Inside and Distortion, and is currently editing my third novel.

An active member of the creative writing community, she also writes poetry and enjoys taking part in spoken word events and poetry slam and organises spoken word events and workshops as part of The Writers' Workshop.

She loves helping people to tell their stories!
