Write With Me

Join Lytisha for creative writing sessions focusing on developing short stories. Open to writers at all stages of their writing journey from absolute beginners onwards.

Sessions will begin with a warm up, a short writing exercise, then we will spend time working on short stories or poems from prompts. Each session will include feedback time.

Located in the heart of Sherwood at The Place Activity Centre, which is a level access space. The workshops are in the front room on the ground floor and The Place is handy for buses to and from from the City Center.

About Lytisha.

Lytisha has an MA in Creative Writing and her stories have been published in various anthologies. She has written and developed a virtual reality poetry experience which has been shown at film and VR festivals worldwide. Lytisha is often found at spoken word and poetry events, including Edinburgh Fringe Festival, WOMAD, Ludlow Literature Festival and Nottingham Poetry festival. She has performed on BBC radio and Notts TV. Former Poet-in Residence at Wollaton Arts Festival, she is currently the Chair of Nottingham based DIY Poets.
