Award winning East Midlands photographer David Baird has launched an exhibition celebrating the achievements of Paralympic champion Richard Whitehead. The exhibition brings together a collection of photographs taken by David over the years which allow you to take a look behind the scenes of what it takes to become a Paralympic legend.
Entry is free. The exhibition is based at Sneinton Market in Unit 14, NG1 1DU. It's open from 11am-4pm until Thursday 1 December. On Saturday 3 December there will be an opportunity to meet Richard and find out more about life as a paralympian and what he has planned for the future. The venue will be open from 10.30am - 5pm on the day with a special appearance from Richard at 3pm.
We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
