reading time: min, words

Josefin and Fred from the band have answered a few questions for us and curated a selection of songs to get us in the mood for their show on Friday at Nottingham Contemporary...

What is the band's philosophy?
Alchemical Sky Gazing.

How do you turn an idea into a song, what's the process and where does it come from, in an intellectual/spiritual sense?
Alchemical Sky Gazing.

What might people misunderstand about your music?
The dynamics maybe, choruses being quieter than verses and there sometimes being no choruses at all.

Is what you’re doing now what you always wanted to do growing up?
This is like roaming the woods and Northern islands and that’s what we did as kids and always wanted to do, so yes!

What's your favourite track from your playlist and why?
The beat of Feels Like Something’s Changing by Whyte Horses inspired our song Sister Green Eyes, and Whyte Horses’ album from last year is our favourite album or 2016 and they are great, true friends of ours and we are very honoured to be part of their live band.

What do you like most about touring?
The people!!! Meeting and hanging with so many amazing human beings.

What are your plans for the future?
Alchemical Sky Gazing.
