Meet One Giant Causeway, one of the semi-finalists of Nusic's FSN 2017...
How would you describe your music?
Indie-rock or alternative.
What was your reaction to the news you’d be playing the FSN final?
We played scrabble and cracked open a cold one with the boys.
What can the Rock City crowd expect from your performance?
A lot of energy, dancing about and some decent tunes.
Why did you enter FSN?
We were asked to be in it by County Youth Arts and Inspire Academy.
Who are you biggest musical influences?
Radiohead, Kings of Leon and Foals.
What Nottingham artists are you loving at the minute?
Ady Suleiman, Young T & Bugsey and Suspect Alibi.
What are you biggest non-musical influences?
Southwell. If you know, you know.
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
Being told we have been given the opportunity to play a huge stage with a lot of history, following in the footsteps of acts like Jake Bugg, Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Stereophonics. Plus getting to play at this years Y-NOT Festival thanks to BBC Introducing.
Any last words for Leftlion?
Don't know what to say next, so I'm going to leave it here. Bless.

We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
