The National Justice Museum are back with another brilliant film season...
After their cracking John Carpenter season earlier this year, The National Justice Museum are back with a belting selection of Superhero films. Sponsored by DigiCon, Annie's Burger Shack and Last Exit To Nowhere, and in association with Movies in Focus, the trilogy of films kicks off on Sunday, 5 August.
Batman (1989)

Did you know? In the Italian version, Jack Nicholson was dubbed by Giancarlo Giannini. His son, Adriano Giannini, was chosen to dub Heath Ledger's Joker for the Italian release of The Dark Knight (2008).

Although NASA scientists are claiming the unexpected eclipse and strange "hot hail" are nothing to worry about, Dr. Hans Zarkov (Topol) knows better, and takes football star Flash Gordon (Sam Jones) and travel agent Dale Arden (Melody Anderson) with him into space to rectify things. They land on planet Mongo, where the despot Ming the Merciless (Max von Sydow) is attacking Earth out of pure boredom. With the help of a race of Hawkmen, Flash and the gang struggle to save their home planet.
Did you know? Max von Sydow's Ming costume weighed over 70 pounds, meaning that he could only stand in it for a few minutes at a time.
