Outlawed, the feature-length action film from Adam Collins and Luke Radford is ready to hit Cineworld Nottingham for a weekend of screenings in aid of Combat Stress.  Made over the space of six years, the film was the brainchild of Collins, a former serving Royal Marines Commando, who wrote the initial script whilst operating off the coast of Somalia as an armed maritime security team leader.  The cast and crew are almost exclusively from Nottingham, including over 100 students from The Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies and New College Nottingham, and was shot in and around the city, including an explosive shoot out filmed in the Council House that caught headlines earlier this year.

Outlawed also stars Collins as Jake O'Neill, a former Royal Marines commando struggling to adjust to civilian life who is enlisted to aid a former girlfriend uncover the truth about her father's murder, quickly uncovering a web of deception, corruption and murder that leads all the way to the Government.

After heading to Cannes in May, Outlawed was picked up for a distribution deal that will see the film given a release in the US, as well as a DVD and VoD release in the UK in early 2019.  But before that, Nottingham will be given a chance to see the action film before anyone else at Cineworld on Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September.  Some screenings have already sold out, so tickets are limited and it is recommended that you book as early as possible.  All money raised from the screenings is being donated to Combat Stress, the charity that offers treatment to former members of the British Armed Forces who are suffering from a range of mental health conditions; including post traumatic stress disorder.
