Fade II Black Film and Music Lounge is a pop-up cinema; a space for people to discover new films and music, and reconnect with classics. The programme will include panel discussions and encompasses the broader world of urban music, arts, culture and music entertainment. The event will be held at the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Recording Studio in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter.

The programme kicks off this Friday 14 December with a screening of Soleseekers, the UK’s first feature-length documentary on UK trainer culture with a Q&A with the film’s director Emil Socialize and special guests. At the core of the programme are the five pillars of Hip-Hop philosophy with a key focus on knowledge.

Sophia Ramcharan of Stella Vision said, "I’ve been a cinema programmer for a number of years and the concept of Fade II Black Film and Music Lounge evolved from requests from diverse audiences for an inclusive space to come together collectively and ‘hang out’ like back in the day, when we all used to chill, watch films and listen to music together. We wish to recreate that nostalgia and provide safe spaces for communities to have good-times, share knowledge with fun and positive experiences."

Tickets for the event are £6 (plus booking fee) and can be booked hereFor more information and ticket details please check the listings at the Facebook page.
