The fine folk at Art of Football are bringing the football fun times back to Sneinton Market this summer...
Art of Football, the creative brains behind our beautiful May issue cover art work, have announced the return of their hugely popular football fanzones to Sneinton Market this Summer. After the success of the events during last year's World Cup, during which swarms of England fans cheered on Gareth Southgate's team to the semi-finals, they have teamed up with Great Northern Inns to host three fanzone events in June, including:
Saturday 1 June
Champions League Final: Tottenham Hostpur vs. Liverpool (doors open at 5.30pm)
Thursday 6 June
Nations League Semi Final: England vs. Netherlands (doors open at 5pm)
Sunday 9 June
Women's World Cup: England vs Scotland + Nations League Final (doors open at 3pm)
Tickets are £7.50 per event (£8.25 incl. booking fee) and are available to purchase now
As well as the return of their fanzone events, Art of Football have also announced the release of a special edition coach's jacket to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Nottingham Forest winning the European Cup on May 30, 1979.
Created in collaboration with Nottingham-based designer Nathan Thompson, the jacket is inspired by the details of the final against Malmö FF, which took place at the Olympiastadion, Munich and resulted in a 1–0 victory for The Reds.
The jacket is available to buy online and in person at Nottingham Forest’s official 40th anniversary celebration at the City Ground on May 30, 2019
