Interested in the music industry and want to know more about working in this digital age? Nottin Industry has the perfect event for you…
An exciting networking experience is coming up this Friday 15 July at Nonsuch Studios, with videographer and creative director Dumi Siwo chatting to guests about how to make it in the music and video industry.
With a long list of successful names on his belt, Dumi Suwo is going to be in the city offering his own advice and knowledge on how to build a brand. The successful videographer and founder of Firmative Media will give some key recommendations to musicians wanting to brand their content, and to aspiring videographers like himself who are eager to build their own business.
A legend within his field, Dumi will speak to DJ and founder of Nottin Industry, Adrian Rayworth, live at 6.30pm - with further chances to network with both Dumi himself and other industry peers coming afterwards.
Adrian has praised Dumi in the past for how he has naturally progressed through the years, saying: “This guy is on a level! And with him being local, from Lincoln, I was like, 'We need to get him down.'
“As artists this is something we need to know; how to take a skill, and build that and grow it into something humongous.” And that is exactly what Dumi has managed to do.
Chart-toppers like Ed Sheeran, Tion Wayne and Anne-Marie are just some of the established musicians on Dumi’s contact list, after he used his skills in management, videography and branding to build his own media empire, Firmative.
