Launching this year, Mansfield Town Film Festival is something to look forward to this summer...
Regular Broadway goer? All around film lover? If so, you might be partial to Mansfield Town’s Inaugural Film Festival. Happening for the first time ever in Mansfield Palace Theatre, we can look forward to three full days of films, ranging from the international to the hyper local.
Showcasing a range of short films, music videos, and documentaries, it’s also a chance to take part in a series of Q&A sessions and attend a very special award evening. Or, if that’s not really your thing, there’s also plenty of time to simply soak in the atmosphere from within the bar.
With categories ranging from working class and LGBTQIA+ voices all the way to animated shorts, there are plenty of different narratives to enjoy. So, with that in mind, why not grab yourself a day ticket for £10 or a full festival ticket for £25?
Likewise, if you did fancy entering your film into the festival, there is still time! Just be sure to enter before May 28 and you’ll be up for a chance to be featured at the event, and potentially win yourself one of the fifteen awards.
Mansfield Town Film Festival is taking place on 14 - 16 July 2023. You can purchase tickets here, or find out more about entries via instagram here.
We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
