Nottingham’s own Splendour Festival has released the first line-up announcement ahead of its return at the end of July…
The two-day music event has taken place at Wollaton Park for 14 years previous, and it will be marking its 15th year with a remarkable double header.
Legendary London ska band Madness have been invited to headline the festival on Saturday 22 July.
On Sunday 23 July, Manchester’s own Noel Gallagher is bringing his High Flying Birds to Nottingham, closing the festival.
Elsewhere on the line-up, Saturday will see a performance from iconic pop band Sugababes, before Rudimental provide an electronic outburst right before Madness provide the main event.
Sunday promises indie stalwarts The Kooks as the main support act for Noel & co, while up-and-comers Confidence Man will bring a high energy performance ahead of them.
The line-up doesn’t end there though, as Eurovision darling Sam Ryder has been enlisted alongside Altered Images to head up the second stage of the festival.
The line-up holds massive appeal for any music fan, bringing together the old and the new, with a great range of genres, and no shortage of live experience.
Wollaton Park is in for a wild show this summer!
We have a favour to ask
