It’s April 1924, and Lawrence is hard at work on various writing projects. He’s written three short stories, an essay about an Indian dance, and is working on finding an illustrator for Movements in European History, a school textbook.

You never saw such a thrilled female.’ What could possibly go wrong with three females – Frieda, Mabel and Brett - all vying for Lawrence’s attention…
