Nottingham has always been renowned for its live music scene. That scene has become even brighter with the opening of brand new venue The Grove, in Sneinton Market. We were there to document the opening day, which featured music from seven of our city's most exciting up and coming bands...
It's been months in the making, but the hard work of the venue crew paid off on Saturday 24th August as The Grove hosted a diverse and energetic launch party. A significant amount of time had reportedly been spent on perfecting the acoustics and sound at the venue, and all reports were that it sounded absolutely perfect.
The 92-capacity space will also be used for audio and video recordings, making this a very welcome addition to the Nottingham music scene.
