It's less than a month now until Thoresby Park is transformed into the ultimate children's wonderland for Nottinghamshire annual family festival: Gloworm. As ever, it's going to be an exciting one, with 20+ meet and greets, a packed main stage program, and more than 100 live shows, performances, workshops, and hands on experiences to discover and enjoy around the festival site.
If you're considering taking your little one(s) along, and making some great summer memories, here's everything you can expect...
Next month will mark the tenth anniversary of Nottinghamshire family festival: Gloworm. Suitably, they've pulled out all the stops for this year's instalment, adding lots of huge names beloved by children and their grownups for what's guaranteed to be a very magical weekend.
The festival kicks off for campers on Friday, with Jo O'Meara's S Club Party, Kevin & Perry Go Large, the K-Pop Hunters Party, the Traditional Fairground and Secret Cinema as the headliners.
The Saturday headline events and acts include Nick Cope, Nigel Clarke, Swift & Styles, Dene Michael, The Vengaboyz Experience, the Playmobil Rave with DJ Sparky, Bebefinn, PAW Patrol Pup Pup Boogie, West End Kids, Sublime Science and Superhero vs Princesses.
Sunday's headliners include Maddie Moate, Pat Sharp and the Fun House Twins, Twist & Pulse, Straight Out of Oz, TV Party Tonight, Spice World, a Pink Tribute, another Playmobil Rave complete with the epic Fancy Dress Competition.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories will be facilitated by Evie Pickerill and Dodge on Saturday and Nigel Clarke and Dodge on Sunday.
The popular character meet and greets will see Bing and Hey Duggee out and about on Saturday, and Supertato and Zog on Sunday. Across the whole weekend, attendees will be able to meet Mr Blobby, SpongeBob Squarepants, Paw Patrol, Bebefinn, Baby Shark, Bluey, Nigel Clarke, and Maddie Moate.
Meanwhile, at the 'PAW Patroller' the PAW Patrol characters: Chase, Marshall, Rubble, and Skye, will be there to meet, plus PAW Patrol toys and other interactive fun for young ones. Little fans of the character Bluey, on the other hand, will certainly enjoy the new 'Bluey: Playdates with Friends' area, where there'll be some Bluey inspired games happening, character dress up, toys, and opportunities for photos.
Also making their Gloworm Festival debut this year are Baby Shark and Bebefinn; characters who are loved by young kids across the world. Both characters will take to the stage with an interactive music party, which is designed to get the whole family involved.
A SpongeBob takeover of The Beach will feature the popular Mermaid Shows, Punch and Judy, and a giant sandpit, while the 'Into The Woods' area is perfect for cooling down in the shade of the trees, with a stream for paddling.
As always, there'll also be lots to do, see, and explore, at White Post Farm, Playmobil Zone, the Adventure Zone, Goodies, Creative Play, The Hive, Mythic Adventure, Wellbeing, Circus and The Great Outdoors.
Day tickets (costing £42.50 for children and £52.50 for adults), Weekend tickets, Weekend Camping, VIP upgrades, and single-parent tickets, are still available, with some camping options now running very low.
