"It's a good way of showcasing new music, it's good that the city has something like this"
How would you describe your music?
Quite personal, everything I'm talking about is in relation to what I've been going through the past few years.
What was your reaction to the news you’d be playing the FSN final?
I was surprised. I didn't expect to get through the first round never mind straight to the final!
What can the Citeh crowd expect from your performance?
Just me up there having fun. It's been a while since I've been in front of a crowd like that so I'm going to make the most of it.
Why did you enter FSN?
It's a good way of showcasing new music, it's good that the city has something like this.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
I like to listen to a lot of Drake, Kanye, Andre 3000, Jay Z Chance the Rapper, Skepta, Chip, my influences come from loads of different kinds of artists though not just grime and hip hop.
What Nottingham artists are you loving at the minute?
At the moment I'm loving stuff from Georgia Copeland, Frazier Lowrie, Mez, Jah Digga, there's loads of good music in Nottingham, it's starting to get the recognition it deserves.
What are your biggest non-musical influences?
Probably my family and friends.
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
Playing the FSN 2010 final at the ice arena was my first time playing in front of so many people.
