Everyone who's had pizza knows the score. You plan to only have one slice, but you end up having twelve. Pizza is great: the cheesy exterior, the thick crust, the way that majestic box comes through the door... Anyway, back on topic.
There’s a new Kickstarter-campaigning, pun-game-strong endeavour called Happy Dough Lucky, hopefully launching in October with your help.
At Happy Dough Lucky, you'll be able to pop in and cry with tears of joy while you wait for pizza, or one of their desserts. Plus, you can get the most unique toppings: “We have weekly specials planned, where we will offer snazzier pizzas, such as the Nutella and Cream Egg Pizza and Mac 'n' Cheese,” Happy Dough Lucky say. Don't mind if we do.
And if you’re feeling like a late night snack, Happy Dough Lucky are planning to be open past 10pm for desserts – nothing better than a drunken cheesecake before bedtime, eh?
They've spent months perfecting their fluffy-yet-crisp dough, and they're proud as punch to be kicking it out of Nottingham. However, sometimes it can be difficult to get started in the business world.
Just a small donation towards the project could help Happy Dough Lucky overcome their initial obstacles. If you decide to dab in, you can grab yourself some awesome rewards, get put on the guestlist for their launch party, and be proud in the knowledge that you've helped an independent business do its thing.
Find out more information about the project, including their aims, targets and how to donate, then click on the link below, and try not to crave a pizza after reading into it a bit more.

We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
