To celebrate the Mercury Prize coming back round, Nottingham's GOA Choir have put together some amazing choral arrangements of their favourites from the Mercury 2016 shortlist. Among them are versions of songs by former winner (as Antony and the Johnsons) Anohni, post-punk rockers Savages and two-time Mercury nominee Bat for Lashes – they've even had a crack at grime heavyweights Skepta and Kano. Check it out...
The Hyundai Mercury Prize 2016 Awards Show can be seen on BBC Four at 9pm tonight (Thursday 15 September).

We have a favour to ask
LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
