Short documentary about the Barton Moss Protectors and their fracking horrible treatment by police

Back in January myself and fellow filmmaker Lloyd Allen-Tucker set out to make a documentary about fracking. Our original aim was to take a look at the controversial energy source and explore the reasons why some people were protesting it. What we discovered however was a far more interesting story. In our research, we came across a stream of videos being uploaded to youtube depicting shocking behaviour from the police. I had gone through my whole life seeing the police as a symbol of bravery and security, so much so that upon leaving school, joining the police force was a very serious consideration for me, and yet here were police officers being caught on camera doing exactly the sorts of things they are there to protect us from. The Barton Moss Protectors (as the protestors prefer to be called) were incredibly hospitable to our small crew and made us feel very welcome in their camp.

This documentary is a look at the events at Barton Moss and the people who were, for a short time, it's protectors.
