Blakey and Whut! launched Camouflage at the Social, despite the fact that their five man Trusicians collective called it a day last month. The other Trusicians were 2Tall, Beware, and Daredevil.
The Trusicians are all highly skilled Decksmiths who met on the UK battle scene and hail from around the country. Despite being only nineteen, Blakey has been playing for six years at some of the best venues around the country including Fabric and The Shepherd Bush Empire. His display at the Social was exemplory. The guy was born to spin vinyl. Whut is an old school hiphop DJ. He played along side the likes of UK hip hop legends Blak Twang, DJ MK and ITF and Vestax world champ Woody. He was equally competant.
In a joint statement on their website the Truescians said about their split: "We would like to thank all the people who have supported us over the past two and a half years. All the DJs in the crew are moving on with their own projects in 2004.
