Now, though, there’s a new restaurant on the block that aims to take the stuffiness out of the whole experience. Previous employee of Sat Bains and head chef at Turners, Alex Bond has opened Alchemilla on Derby Road following a few supper clubs at Wired Cafe on Pelham Street, and it’s got the local gums flapping.
