Phoebe Boswell's Here is Finally Opening at the New Art Exchange After a Year's Delay
Mon 21 Jun 2021Phoebe Boswell's exhibition Here sat half-put together at New Art Exchange from April 2020, unable to open for just over a year while we on the outside battled with lockdown and months of separation. But in early May, the award-winning artist was back in Nottingham putting the finishing touches together, to finally prepare to open her show.

Rachel Willcocks caught up with Phoebe to find out about her work, and how she’s found the past year...

Nottingham Family Business Treat Kitchen Opens New Store in Old Thorntons Site
Sat 19 Jun 2021Having been a fan of their old shop down on Wheeler Gate, we were sweetly surprised to hear about the new Treat Kitchen - from local family business TTK Confectionary - opening up in the old Thorntons site at Victoria Centre. With a long lineage of local confectionery crafting, a big focus on supporting charities and the local community, and a serious eye for sustainability, we thought we’d better check out their new shop. We chatted with two of the co-owners, Jess and Martin Barnett, and Head of Product Development, Katie Gilbert.

Wed 16 Jun 2021It was the most famous battle in human history, helping to shape Europe as we know it today and finally ending Napoleon’s dreams of a French Empire.
