An Evening With Shane Meadows

We’re excited to welcome back the Ghost of Christmas Past, as Shane Meadows delves into his sack of shorts and screens some of his classic first forays into filmmaking.

Originally programmed as a regular monthly slot at Broadway called Shane’s Shorts, you’ll be able to see the good, the bad and the ugly of Shane’s first attempts at picking up the camera and filming his stories across Nottingham in the 90s. The evening will also include a Q&A as Shane explains how he honed and developed his filmmaking technique through the trial and error of short film.

Broadway is not for profit but cannot continue with year-on-year losses. Without your support, the curtain comes down on Broadway – with no chance of a sequel.
