Join us for an animation activity workshop: Kitchen Table-Tastic on Wednesday 14 August.

Create fun food themed animations using everyday objects and your smartphone or tablet device. Learn how you can create fun animations at home using technology and materials you already have. Inspired by animators PES & Norman McLaren.

Come along, enjoy lunch from our Kids’ Menu (or a coffee if you’re a parent) and learn all about the process of creating animation using drawing and cut-out techniques. We’ll share simple tips and tricks to start using animation at home with your family.

Workshop led by Trevor Woolery, Creative Director of Create Animate and artist-in-residence at Broadway’s Near Now Studio.

What You Need To Take Part

To take part in the workshop, download the Stop Motion Studio app for free on your iPhone, iPad, Android, Chrome or Fire device, or use one of ours.

This is an informal drop-in session recommended for ages 6-12.

Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
