Heading up our Everything But the Kitchen Sink season is this special Tilda Swinton double-bill, featuring Joanna Hogg’s graduate short, followed by Sally Potter’s adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s queer classic. Tilda first takes a tumble into her favourite fashion magazine in Caprice, then shape-shifts her way through English history in Orlando, a film which remains remarkably true to the spirit of the source material, while addressing contemporary concerns about gender and identity.
