Thirty years ago the world fell in love with Toni Collette when she exploded onto screens - and worldwide fame - as Muriel Heslop, a socially inept young woman stuck in small town Australia looking for love. Muriel befriends fellow outcast Rhonda, and the two move from their nowhere town of Porpoise Spit to the big city of Sydney, where Muriel begins the arduous task of redesigning her life to match her fantasies.
