David Lynch’s prequel to his groundbreaking 1990s television series follows Laura Palmer, whose death is investigated in the show, in the days leading up to her murder. While the film was a flop on release in 1992 and divided critics, Fire Walk With Me has been reappraised in recent years – now enjoying a cult following and considered one of Lynch’s major works. When this kind of fire starts, it’s very hard to put out.
