A hybrid event - in-person and livestreamed - details below:
10 for 10 - Saul Jaffe
Beeston Tales celebrates its 10th birthday by inviting one of our favourite performers to help with the celebrations. Saul Jaffe was storyteller in residence at The Globe Theatre for over five years, and is a gloriously inventive and funny performer. He promises us an impossible ’10 for 10’ - a story for each year of our existence. We don’t think it’s possible in the time he has, but he is a wily fox. Expect a party atmosphere and a smattering of happy chaos.
Also featuring tales from your hosts, music, fun and frolics!
IN-PERSON TICKETS £8 on the door or £6.50 in advance from https://www.tickettailor.com/events/beestontales/
Doors 19:00 for a 19:30 start.
VENUE! We'll be meeting in the Church Hall, 25 Foster Avenue, Beeston, NG9 1AE, a short walk up from Beeston Tram Stop or across from Beeston Library. Parking available at the venue.
CAFE! - The DoughMother will be returning with tea, coffee and home baked treats. Their cheesecake changed my life. And you can Bring Your Own Bottle if you fancy something stronger.
LIVESTREAM: If you're unable to join us in person, there's now an option for you to watch along from home. Now with improved audio, but still a discounted price while we experiment with our kit.
