Best Show nominated at this year's Leicester Comedy Festival, "Copernicus Now" is a surreal comedy show about hope, creativity, and Renaissance-era astronomy.
In 1543, astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus published “De revolutionibus orbium coelestium”, setting out his theory that the Earth was not the centre of the universe, but was in fact in orbit around the Sun.
Fast-forward to 2024 and Michael Brunström’s surreal new comedy show promises to be equally important and paradigm-shattering.
