Dig out that tub of glitter and prepare to sparkle… The Louisey Rider Cup is BACK in full force!
The Louisey Rider Cup is an annual roller derby tournament put on by Nottingham Roller Derby to celebrate the life teammate Louise Wright, aka Louisey Rider, who was sadly taken from us in a cycling accident in 2014. The annual event has so far made over £13,000 for road safety charity Brake.
In our first full event since lockdown, 6 mixed exhibition teams will compete: The tournament is made up of 9 half hour games – 6 group games and 3 deciders.
This is a family friendly event and under 16s enter free accompanied with a paying adult. As well as live roller derby, spectators can expect stalls, face painting, snacks and fundraising games to keep everyone entertained.
Discounted spectator tickets can be brought in advance via the link or on the door for £7.
