A European style café bar located on Heathcote St, perfectly situated in the heart of the Hockley, whilst remaining just far enough off the beaten track to retain its individuality.

By day, Jamcafé has a warm, friendly, inviting atmosphere; a calm oasis in the midst of a bustling city. They offer up locally roasted coffee, homemade food (brunch and dinner) and tasty beer snacks - their chef’s sausage rolls are well known round these parts.

By night, the place comes alive as a bar and gig venue, with regular album and EP launches from local artists, as well as open mics and regular DJ nights. The place is one of Nottingham’s longest running independent hubs of activity for live music and they’re part of all the local festivals including Dot To Dot and Hockley Hustle. It’s usually open until late on weekends too.
