Join us for an evening of comedy featuring some of the best pro comedians on the circuit!
Headliner - Nabil Abdulrashid
Nabil Abdulrashid is an award-winning comedian and writer.
Nabil’s TV career is flourishing, with appearances on shows including: Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Celebrity Masterchef (BBC One), Have I Got News for You (BBC Two), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4), House of Games (BBC Two) and The Big Narstie Show (C4). A practising Muslim, Nabil was also a ‘pilgrim’ on BBC Two’s faith-based show Pilgrimage.
Nabil is an acclaimed stand up who has performed comedy all over the UK, and across the world and is recognised for his “sardonic intelligence and sharp eye for the absurdities of racial discourse” (The Guardian). In his last tour show, entitled N.A.B.I.L (Nobody Actually Believed I’d Last), he shared hilarious stories about his experiences of the school system in Nigeria, his return to England, how he spent a short time in prison and started performing comedy upon his release. The show was declared “moving and captivating as well as split-your-sides funny” (Evening Standard) and Nabil praised for his “genuine humanity… an easy comic to like even before he holds you rapt with his various misadventures” (Chortle).
In August 2023, Nabil will make his debut appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his new show The Purple Pill.

Award-winning, stand-up comedian and Hull local, Jack Gleadow, is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today. He takes his inspiration from the golden era of variety; Jack is the One-Man Variety Show with the use of sounds, stories, jokes and a scooter and has got off to a good start by already performing for Harry Hill!
In the words of Leicester Comedy Festival, after winning the prestigious 2018 Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year award, “Jack bowled over the judges with his quirky set; a delightful blend of audience participation, wordplay and physical comedy.”
Jack is also the winner of 2017’s Amused Moose National New Comic, and more recently nominated for Chortle’s Best Newcomer and Leicester Comedy Festivals’ Best New Show, both in 2019. He recently recorded an episode of Amazon’s Audible Presents.
Jack is in huge demand on the live comedy scene. All well as performing across the top UK comedy clubs, Jack has been featured on the comedy stages at various festivals such as Latitude and Glastonbury and has also provided tour support for Lloyd Griffiths. Jack took his debut solo show Mr Saturday Night to The Edinburgh Festival in 2019 which received 4 and 5 star reviews. This is after also performing as part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, now in it’s 14th year.
Middle - Jacob Nussey
Jacob Nussey unassumingly draws in audiences with his deadpan style, sharp jokes, and ill-fated anecdotes with clever punchlines.
Jacob won West Didsbury Comedy Festival New Act of the Year and was a finalist of Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year in 2022.
After reaching the semi-finals of British Comedian of the Year and semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny in 2021.
Jacob has been named by Chortle as one to watch for 2023. He’s seriously funny and well worth seeing in person!
