Join us for our Open Day as part of Green Hustle 2024!
These short workshops will introduce writers to a new way of considering the natural world, both above the surface and below. Fun activities will include post-it note poems, paper-chain promises to our planet and postcards to the future, as well as personal writing about life, nature and community. Together we will play with words to write poetry, flash fiction and prose, learning techniques to extend your own skills and to write as a community. We will experiment with viewpoint, writing as animals, rocks and as a plural voice. No writing experience necessary – come if you have never written before!
11am – 12.15pm Workshop 1 ABOVE
12.45pm – 2pm Workshop 2 BELOW
