Are you an unemployed woman, a woman with caring responsibilities, or on a low income living in Nottingham? Skilled Hands is delighted to offer a free but high-quality body care product-making workshop, designed to empower you with valuable skills and the opportunity to earn a recognised certification.

If you don’t meet the criteria, don’t worry—you can still join us by paying a minimal fee and enjoy the same transformative experience.

Workshop Details

When: Every Wednesday, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Where: Mary Potter Children's Centre

Duration: 12 weeks

Start Date: 8th January 2025

What You’ll Learn

This hands-on training programme equips you with the skills to create a variety of luxurious body care products, including:

Melt & Pour Soap

Cold Process Soap

Hand Wash

Bath Salts

Bath Bombs

Lip Balm

Candles

We’ll also provide essential business skills to help you:

Market Your Small Business

Start Your Own Business

At the end of the training, participants will receive an NOCN (National Open College Network) Certificate, a nationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates your competence and commitment to learning. This certification can boost your CV, open doors to employment, or enhance your credibility when starting your own business.

This workshop is free for women who:

Are unemployed

Have caring responsibilities

Are on a low income

Live in Nottingham

If you don’t meet the criteria, you’re still welcome to join us by paying a minimal fee.
