The Nottinghamshire Family Orchestra & Chorus and the BBC Concert Orchestra will create a unique soundtrack to a selection of iconic BBC wildlife clips. After only one rehearsal, the piece will be created live.
Audience members are invited to watch for free, at 3.00pm. No ticket required, just turn up.
Participants are invited to join by signing up HERE.
There will be one day of composition and rehearsal on Saturday 22 March and then an opportunity to share the piece at Metronome on Sunday 23 March. Who can get involved? All ages, generations, instruments and abilities are welcome! No experience needed. No instrument? No problem, you can join the chorus or percussion family. You do not need to know how to read music, just be able to bring enthusiasm for creating music with others. Don’t miss this chance to learn something new and get creative as part of the Soundstage Festival and BBC Concert Orchestra‘s residency in Nottingham!
Please note: All participating children aged 17 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This event is part of Soundstage Festival.
