You’re invited to drop into our Creative Courtyard and make something inspired by the museum collection.

Our creative sessions are free and open to all. Join us to make and create together and contribute to our growing museum! The sessions will be led by artists, makers, and writers, all influenced by this unique museum. Although these sessions are free, please book your ticket for the session you would like to attend. 

 

Friday 5 July – Shaping Hope with Clay
In this workshop artist Yuxi Hou will take participants through the process of designing and creating clay sculptures which symbolise hope.

 

Friday 12 July – Delicious Chocolate
Chocolatier Lisa Davies will demonstrate techniques that can be used to create a food platter inspired by the Juvenile In Justice exhibition.

 

Friday 19 July – Being Human
Inspired by our Project Lab and current exhibition, artist, Clare Taylor will guide you through the process of creating a clay selfie.

 

Friday 26 July – Watery Journaling
A journaling circle and meditation workshop with art Witch, Wingshan Smith using elements of nature to craft protective symbols for everyday use.
