Join us for an evening of multi-sensorial performance by composer and performer Jake Mehew exploring transformational qualities of sound and neurodivergent perceptibility as an (in)audible archive.
As part of All the Birds Sing Bass, this performance utilises microscopic visual stimuli and video synthesis and improvised sound design to think about the perceptibility exists outside the realm of our somatic and sensory experiences.
Mehew says, ‘The project came about through a realisation that I have escaped diagnosis for autism and far-sightedness until adulthood. I began to question sensory stimuli that I once took for granted and thought this would make for interesting ground to explore in a multi-sensory art piece.’
