Be the first to try out new Augmented Reality content to uncover hidden stories and images from the Archives. As part of this FREE tour, you will be able to interact in new ways with our collections via your own tablet or smartphone device:
- View a pop-up version of an Archival document directly on your device
- Explore 360 degree images of modern-day Nottingham blended with historic photographs to explore change over time
- Listen to new audio descriptions of our Archival materials
To make the most of our Augmented Reality tour, you will need a smartphone or tablet with an integrated camera and web browser. Free access to our Wifi will be provided for use in the tour.
Please note that as our Augmented Reality technology has been generously supported by Nottingham City Council on behalf of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, these tours are currently offered to residents of Nottingham City only. When booking your ticket, you will be asked to confirm your postcode which will be used for reporting to funders at Nottingham City Council.
