Expression Exhibition & Workshops Retford

Artist and Author in Residence Amanda and Mark have worked with groups of primary aged children to make explosive artwork and poems that celebrate the wide range of emotions we feel every day as human beings.

Artwork and poems will be on display from Saturday 13 July to Sunday 8 September at Newark, Retford, Southwell and Worksop Libraries.

Join Amanda and Mark for FREE family drop-in workshops this summer! Amanda will help you to draw your own emotional monster, expressing your feelings through mark-making and colour. Families can play rhyming games and Mark will help young writers contribute to group poems that focus on what makes us feel brave and uplifted. Suitable for ages 7+.
