Wars Of the Roses Weekend

A host of brilliant Medieval re-enactment groups descend on Sherwood Forest for a whole weekend which evokes one of the most troubled eras of English History - the Wars of the Roses.

There will be combat and clashes on the battlefield in the Skirmish of Sherwood and the Tournament of Champions and fabulous costumes to admire in a 15th Century fashion show, not to mention fascinating demonstrations of the artisan skills of the era.
