Deep in the Central American jungle, an elite American military squad led by Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is on a mission to rescue hostages in guerrilla territory. But just as their assignment is unfolding, a deadly new enemy emerges, in the form of an advanced alien being who likes to kill for sport.

Seemingly invisible, the predatory creature appears to have the upper hand as it starts to stalk the team, but as Dutch begins to unravel the enigma before him, he might just find a way to defeat it…

With Oscar nominated special effects from Stan Winston, a whole bunch of quotable one-liners from an ensemble cast, and a perfect blend of suspense, action, sci-fi and horror, it's no wonder that this '80s classic spawned a franchise that’s still going strong today.
