St Martin's Church
St Martin's is a working church which has been at the heart of Bilborough abd Strelley since the 14th Century, serving the community and helping people through good times and bad.
Thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), the church has been lovingly and skillfully restored. The Evelyn Gibbs murals, the beautiful barrel vault ceiling and the east window, all hidden as a result of the 1970's extension, have now been revealed. As a result of the HLF supported Hidden Treasures Project the church is now open to visitors three days a week in addition to Sundays, offers a range of special events and hosts regular community activities.
Church Open:
Wednesday 10am - 4pm (throughout the year)
Fridays & Saturdays 11am - 3pm (March - October)
