An evening of indie/folk music with local duo, Malin Hill, at St. Paul’s church In Daybrook.
With Gary on vocals and guitar and Jenny on vocals and violin, Malin Hill play a mixture of traditional, modern and original folk material – all with unique arrangements and an indie edge.
Their original carol was included in the English Folk Dance and Song Society's Christmas 2023 play list.
The pair have recently released their first EP "Four Track Trad Folk", reviewed on LeftLion.
They will be supported on the evening by Simon Waldram, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from Nottinghamshire, known for his eclectic blend of indie folk, psychedelic pop, and experimental music, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, including folk, punk, 60s psychedelia, and classic indie pop.
