D. A. Orli / Paula Reid / Corina Rothwell / Maximillion Speed / Dick D. Spice / Angela Walsh
Surface is pleased to announce Circus of Life, an exhibition featuring six Nottingham-based artists and a collection of work that explores the intricacies of human experiences.
Circus of Life presents a range of interpretations and reflections showcased through contrasting and distinctive styles: figurative paintings, line drawings and bold dioramas encounter the brash pop-art prints of Dick D. Spice. Experience the futuristic urban landscapes of Paula Reid, or step into the surreal world of D.A. Orli and the exhibits from his Ersatz Museum. Maximillion's transient collage delves into the unconscious and the realm of dreams, offering new ways of seeing, and further extending the scope of our visual experience. Circus of Life brings together an eclectic collection of artwork, and a myriad response to the human story.
