Drop-in Community Art Project: Make a Portrait Sculpture

This summer, we are inviting you to get creative with the free materials and tools provided and make sculpted portraits to add to our community art installation.

This activity is inspired by our new exhibition, Heads by Nicole Farhi which is part of In Good Company. This exhibition features over 100 sculpted busts of famous figures, all of which have inspired the artist. Sculptures include DH Lawrence, Malala Yousafzai, and Pablo Picasso. Some have written great works, some have campaigned for women’s rights, and others are pioneers that will go down in history.

Visit the creative space to have a go at making your own sculptural bust of someone that has inspired you. It might be a character from a favourite story, a teacher, a family member, or perhaps a famous person.
