The Vat and Fiddle Brewery
The Vat and Fiddle, Castle Rock’s brewery tap, is a fine example of the Great British pub. Located a short stroll from Nottingham railway station, ‘the Vat’ is a 1930’s art deco-style building beneath the iconic blue tower of Castle Rock.
On entering the Vat, you will be greeted with thirteen real ale handpulls, showcasing the largest available range of Castle Rock beer, plus two changing guest ales. Though if you don’t love ale as much as we do, there is a full range of products available including craft beers, fine wines, lagers and ciders, a fantastic range of quality gins, and 30+ whiskies.
Food at the Vat is diverse, with options from homemade cobs to a full menu of classic pub dishes, and a changing specials board. Every Tuesday enjoy a curry and a drink for just £8.25, or venture down on a Wednesday for a pie and drink for only £8.75.
As the Castle Rock Brewery tap, the Vat is also home to the Golding’s Room – a light and airy hireable space – and the Visitors’ Centre, where brewery tours begin. Prices start from £12 per person, click here to find out more.
We are proud that the Vat and Fiddle is deemed a “must visit” venue for many people coming to Nottingham, and hope to welcome you to this lovely heritage pub very soon.
