Saturday 01 August 2020
reading time: min, words

Our magazine is back in print. But because so many venues are still closed you might find it a little harder to get hold of a copy than you did before. However, here’s some tips of where you can find it and few new ways you can get your hands on a copy

---------------------------------------------------

City Centre
We’re stocked fairly widely in dozens of the regular venues across in the city centre. But if you’re looking for a sure bet head to either Rough Trade or the Tourism Information Centre, each of whom have hundreds of copies. For details of our usual stockists in town see here

Suburban areas
Venues in Sherwood, Mapperley, Carrington, West Bridgford, Beeston and Sneinton will all receive copies over the next week. Please just bear in mind that some regular venues have asked for a pause in distributing our magazines for the time being. For details of our usual stockists in the suburbs see here

Libraries
Every public library that’s open across the city and county should have copies in within the week thanks to our friends at Inspire.

Patreon
If you sign up to our LeftLion Patreon on the ‘King’ package then we’ll deliver the magazine to your door each month. If you sign up after 1 August make sure you drop us a message if you want the August issue posting as, by default, you always get the issue the month after.

Order some local beer to your home
If you order a home beer delivery from Magpie Brewery, Liquid Light, Kraft Werks or Brew Cavern you will get a copy of our magazine delivered with your order, while stocks last.

Order some fresh produce
If you order a box of fruit and vegetables to your door from The Thompson Brothers, or a box to collect from Neighbourfood you will get a copy of our magazine with your order.

Head to Sneinton Street Food
Nottingham Street Food Club Club’s takeovers at Sneinton Market each weekend will be well stocked with our publication. Just ask the staff if you can’t see them.

We have a favour to ask

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
