Starring Malcolm James as Arthur Kipps and Mark Hawkins as The Actor, The Woman In Black is returning to the Theatre Royal direct from London’s West End. Arthur Kipps is obsessed with a curse he believes has been cast by the spectre of a Woman in Black over him and his family, and enlists a sceptical young actor to help tell his terrifying story.

Choose from a wide selection of contemporary craft and design including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, Christmas decorations, homeware, candles, prints, and cards, from local sellers and makers from around the UK.

Mammoth Fungi Fest - Films, Drawing Workshop and Poetry Workshop

Where: Mammoth - A Climate Action Cinema

Mammoth Cinema (that tiny one opposite Broadway) opened in the last few years as a climate action cinema, and this weekend they have a host of fungi related fun for all you mushroom lovers. On Saturday, check out a day of documentaries celebrating the beauty, weirdness, and human influences of mushrooms, lichens, and micro fungi, or enjoy a two hour poetry writing (and reading) workshop, open to poets and enthusiastic non-poets of all abilities. Sunday sees a drawing workshop, Sketchy Shrooms, which looks like mush fun for seasoned artists and beginners alike.

Festive Characters Skate

Where: National Ice Centre

Skate with festive characters at this very special session at the National Ice Centre. It’s going to be magical, as their Christmas lights and majestic tree twinkle and elves, snowman, reindeer and gingerbread man skate around the rink with you. Even better, under fives skate for free, so you can make this a fun and festive family day out. These skating sessions are very popular, so make sure to pre-book your tickets online to avoid disappointment!
