Enjoy some dense distortion, spacey soundscapes, and unnervingly serene vocal transmissions directly from the heart with Spotlights at the Bodega. 2023 saw husband-and-wife duo Mario [guitar, synths, vocals] and Sarah Quintero [bass, guitar, vocals] release Alchemy For The Dead, a multi-layered album combining thunderous guitars and sweet melodies, which was recorded in the basement of their Pittsburgh home. The band have previously opened for Deftones, so if that’s your bag get yourself a ticket and maybe discover your new favourite band!
When: Thursday 13 June
Where: Rescue Rooms
How much: £18
Unlike any church you’ve encountered before, this sought after live act has been likened to Tenacious D, Electric Six and Flight of the Conchords. Headed up by ‘insane’ frontman The Right Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson, who joins Morgan the Organ, the Hail Marys and several other righteous music makers, this gig is the sweet salvation your soul has been craving.
Nottingham Craft Beer Festival
