Base 51 is a local charity that has provided support for young people in Nottingham for over thirty years, and all proceeds from the event will support the charity’s work in Nottingham. Come along for a chance to try your hand at ten-pin bowling, batting cages, ice-free curling, and to support a good cause while you’re at it!

Beans on Toast

Folk songwriter and cult legend Beans on Toast is performing at Rescue Rooms this Wednesday as part of his Wild Goose Chase tour. Complete with iconic tracks from his extensive back catalogue, as well as songs from his new album Wild Goose Chasers, the evening is set to captivate audiences with a celebration of life, as he explores what it means to be human. This week’s gig will set the stage for Nottingham’s Foolhardy Folk Festival this summer, with the line up curated by Beans on Toast himself.

Wollaton Hall is hosting a creative careers event for students aged 14-25, bringing together a range of professionals from various fields. This event will be hands-on, featuring a series of talks from speakers including Nottingham’s first Young Poet Laureate, Georgina Wilding, and LeftLion’s own Jared Wilson. These talks will be followed by an opportunity for attendees to visit stalls hosted by local organisations such as Nottingham Playhouse and Nottingham Justice Museum.
